Activities in the Retirement Center are planned by the Social Committee and the Activity Director. Knowing not everyone likes the same thing a variety of activities are planned.

Regular Weekly Activities Include:

  • Exercise 3 times a week
  • 2 trips to the grocery store
  • 1 trip to a shopping area
  • Bible Study
  • Vespers
  • 1 Special Program with various themes
  • Saturday afternoon gatherings including games, cards, or a movie
Regular Monthly Activities Include:

  • Communion
  • Blood Pressure Clinic
  • Lunch of the Month
  • Sightseeing Trips
  • Theme Parties on Holidays

Highlights Of The Year Are:

  • The 90's celebration in January, where residents 90 years of age and older are honored
  • The kick-off to Older Americans Month
  • Senior Health and Fitness Day
  • Residents Appreciation Day
  • July picnic at Spring Lake
  • Ice Cream Social in August
  • Western Day in September
  • Trip to Apple Basket Farm
  • Wiener roast in October
  • And lots of special activities in December.
